Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) are reminding the public to keep cooking areas clear following a kitchen fire in Milton Regis earlier today (Tuesday 15th June).

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called out shortly after 1:30pm this afternoon (Wednesday 31st March) to a collison.
The KFRS Emergency Cail Centre received reports of a crash involving two cars on Bell Road here in Sittingbourne.
Two fire engines attended and crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove a door from one of the vehicles to safely release the driver.
Crews remain at the scene of a fire at an industrial premises on Gas Road in Milton Regis.
The Kent Fire & Rescue Service (KFRS) told SFM News that: " steady progress is being made to extinguish the fire, with crews using hose reel jets to tackle the flames".
People living and working in the Kemsley / Milton Regis area are being asked to keep their windows and doors closed, due to large amounts of smoke in the area.
The Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) were called to Burley Road at around 9.00am yesterday (Sunday 22nd November) morning.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) were called to a lorry alight on the London-bound carriageway of the M2, in-between Faversham and Sittingbourne earlier today.
The KFRS received the call shortly after 04:10am this morning and three fire engines and a bulk water carrier were sent to the scene, as well as a crew from the KFRS Technical Rescue Unit.
The motorway was closed in both directions whilst crews worked to extinguish the fire.
Officers from Kent Police Roads Policing Unit were also in attendance.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called earlier today (Monday 3rd August) to field of corn stubble and straw alight off of Bottom Pond Road, Wormshill, just outside Sittingbourne.
Three fire engines were sent to the scene and crews used hose reel jets, beaters and water from portable tanks (called flexi packs) to put the fire out.
There were no reported casualties and the cause is not yet known.
The A2500 Lower Road, in Minster-On-Sea on the Isle Of Sheppey, will be CLOSED until 1.00pm this afternoon (Thursday 16th August) following a collision earlier on this morning.
The road is closed, in both directions, between the Cowstead Corner Roundabout and Thistle Hill Way following the head-on car crash between a silver Skoda Fabia and a red Toyota Hilux at around 4.00am.
