A dash to the hospital turned into a dramatic roadside birth for one local mother, who has now reunited with the team who helped bring her baby into the world in the back of an ambulance.

Lisa and Ant from Teynham had been to the William Harvey Hospital on Tuesday 14th January but were discharged to rest at home. However, soon after arriving, Lisa's waters broke and she and her husband, Ant, set off for the hospital, but just minutes into the journey, it became clear they wouldn’t make it in time.
